using our diggers

What you need

  1. DuraDig Landscape Digger
  2. Water- Preferred but optional
  3. 16 lb. Digging bar- just in case

How to dig a hole

Start by using the Landscape Digger to penetrate the soil and remove the loosened dirt. Dig down approximately 6” by the required width. If soil can be easily dug and removed, then just repeat this process. If soil is too hard and difficult to remove, stop and fill the hole with water. If you are digging multiple holes, then go to the next hole while the water in the first hole dissipates. Once the standing water is gone, start digging again until you reach dry, hard soil. Add more water, let drain and start digging again until the desired depth is met. Repeat this dig, water method until all holes are complete. If very hard difficult soil is encountered, it may be necessary to loosen the soil with a digging bar, then extract the soil and proceed to dig with the Landscape Digger.
